Instant Messaging Security Service - Released
MessageLabs, the world leader in Hosted Messaging Security, is pleased to announce the release of a new service -
Instant Messaging Security Service (IMSS).
Public Instant Messaging (IM) clients such as MSN, Yahoo and AIM are increasingly being used in the work place - both authorized and unauthorized – to support collaboration and real time communication. Unregulated use of public IM clients however, exposes organizations to many risks including IM spam, malicious software, loss of sensitive data and breach of regulatory requirements.
Instant Messaging Security Service will enable businesses to safely use public IM clients by wrapping a set of services around them to provide security and control.
“A market persists for an easy-to-use, Public-IM security solution.”
